Family run equestrian business, specialising in producing quality performance foals.
Run by business partners Catherine Hanna who previously Show jumped up to and including Home International Level; and Nicole Galbraith who has Showjumped up to 1.30m along side her full time career. Nicole is an accredited BHS Stage 3 Coach, a Pony club approved Coach, and SJI showjumping Judge. Catherine and Nicole have experience in breaking, producing, and breeding Showjumpers and Eventers. They have recently been joined by the youngest family member Zac Hanna. Zac started riding four years ago at the age of 10 and has achieved great successes.
Some successes in 2024 include Cynbrook Heiress winning the Ulster 90cm League final and overall Champion, Ulster Discovery league Champion, and all Ireland Interprovincial 3rd place and highest placed Ulster rider in the 90cm class. They also qualified for the RDS Equitation class on their first attempt with a brilliant 2nd place 0.5 points behind 1st! Qualified for the Young pony All Ireland finals 1m class at Mullingar. Brooke also moved up to 1m classes where she had wins at this level too.
Marylynn TN and Zac also had many achievements including Spring Ulster Champions 1:10/1:20m Children on Horses. They did the double then by taking the win again at the Autumn league Ulster Champions in the 1:10/1.20m Children on horses. Both leagues they also came a fab 2nd against Junior riders in the 1m classes.
Successes in 2025 included Cynbrook Heiress doing the double again with wins at the Ulster 90cm League final and overall Champion, and the Ulster Discovery league Champion. Marylynn TN and Zac had their first bash at the RDS Children on Horses qualifier and were the only Ulster pair to qualify for the RDS! Zac and Marylynn TN had a third place in the Sycamore league at 1.10m up against older Junior riders. They finished off 2025 moving up to, and getting two very credible 2nd places in the 1.30m classes. This kind and consistent mare managed to secure top spot in the whole of Ireland with the most points as an 8 year old. Bearing in mind she had a 13 year old riding this was a massive achievement.
Zac was crowned Northern Ireland Farming Rider of the year 2024 and again in 2025. He has completed his Mackey Bar 1 and 2 and his pony club C plus test.
CLF Ember joined the team this year as a raw 148cm, and as a 6 year old in 2025 she finished off the year winning at 1.10m and gaining 60 SJI points on limited outings. Lavori was the other new addition to the team in 2025, starting at 1m at the end of September with Zac and finishing the season with a win at 1.30m against senior riders.
Our resident 148cm stallion Champagne Aragon made his showing debut in 2025 gaining a very respectable 3rd place at the HSI sponsored NIHB young stock performance class for 3 year olds. Now riding and in training with Nicole and Zac Champ will be out campaigning in 2026 SJI alongside covering a select few mares.
We also have a few homebred horses currently in training ready for their next homes (4 years old down).
Chisum Lea farm is an extension of their experience; investing in Top Showjumping blood lines for the farms foundation mares whose dam lines are littered with 1.60m Showjumpers. These mares will be matched to Top International 1.60m Showjumping Stallions, along side our resident Connie Stallion to produce the very best foals for sale.
